Venez découvrir nos festivités ce vendredi 14 août, à partir de 9 h au Faubourg du Mascaret. Nous commencerons par notre défilé « Tintamarre », au son d’une musique entraînante et en faisant beaucoup de bruit, en passant par les rues Cormier, Landry et Richard. Après le défilé, nous servirons et vendrons des plats traditionnels acadiens, notamment de la poutine râpée, de la râpure et, bien sûr, du fricot.
Dans l’après-midi, nous organiserons également une grande fête à partir de 13 h au kiosque, avec de nombreuses décorations, de la musique mixée par DJ Bones et un barbecue.

On August 15th, Canada celebrates National Acadian Day.
Across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and beyond, Acadian communities remain vibrant and dynamic, enriching communities through their music, storytelling, culinary traditions, and deep-rooted values. Their lasting presence is a powerful reminder of the resilience of people who ensured their culture and heritage would endure.
Come check out our celebrations this Friday, August 14th, starting at 9am at Faubourg du Mascaret. We will kick off our Tintamarre walk/parade, playing loud music and making plenty of noise as we visit Cormier, Landry, and Richard. Following the parade, we will be serving and selling traditional Acadian dishes, including poutine râpée, râpure, and of course, fricot.
In the afternoon, we will also be hosting a big celebration starting at 1:00 p.m. at the gazebo, with lots of decorations, music by DJ Bones, and a BBQ.
