It’s aim is to build a dynamic and professional ecosystem in Canada which would engage students, professors, business leaders and politicians to discuss the current trade relations between India and Canada and potential bridging of knowledge and technology gaps in various sectors including econo
my, defense, manufacturing, health, energy, IT, and processing industries between the two countries. ICEF is an ideal platform for students and professors across universities in Canada to blend with the business leaders and politicians to gauge India’s significant role in the future markets in Asia and across the world and to identify key untapped sectors in which further trade expansions could take place to facilitate exponential growth between India and Canada. ICEF’s mission is to:
1.connect academia with businesses and geopolitics in a congenial environment
2.boost student entrepreneurships and business models for Indo-Canadian markets with the help of professors and business leaders
3.foster professional Indo-Canadian networks through active participation between students, professors, business leaders and politicians
Some of the important events that we plan on organizing are:
1.Economic Forum - candid interactions between students and professors
2.Speaker Series - for high profile visitors including business leaders and politicians
3.Annual Business Summit - to gather all business leaders, professors, politicians, and students for yearly conferences. This would also help organize startup competitions which would enable students to build business models that cater to the Indo-Canadian market
