Gottlieb, Professor Emerita, Ingram School of Nursing, who was today bestowed the well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award for Leadership in Learning from McGill during the Fall Convocation ceremony, where she also delivered the Convocation Address.
Félicitations à Laurie N. Gottlieb, professeure émérite à l’École des sciences infirmières Ingram et leader infirmière de grand renom, qui a reçu aujourd’hui le Prix d’excellence de l’Université McGill pour l’ensemble des réalisations en enseignement lors de la cérémonie automnale de remise des diplômes, où elle a aussi prononcé le discours de collation des grades.

Bravo to Gilles Paradis, MD, who today received the Morty Yalovsky Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Academic Leadership from McGill University during the Fall Convocation ceremony. Professor Emeritus and former Chair of the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health, Dr. Paradis has made tremendous contributions to the university over the years, including playing a key role in the establishment of the world-leading School of Population and Global Health.

Congratulations to Nicholas King, PhD, of the Department of Equity, Ethics and Policy, who is the recipient of the President’s Prize for Excellence in Teaching in the Associate Professor category. Prof. King , who investigates how "black boxes" in the public health sector can contribute to inequalities, is a passionate educator and says teaching is his calling.
Bravo à Nicholas King, Ph. D., du Département d’équité, d’éthique et de politiques, qui a reçu le Prix du recteur pour l’excellence en enseignement, catégorie Professeur agrégé. Le Pr King, qui s’intéresse aux « boîtes noires » dans le système public de santé et à leur contribution aux inégalités, est un pédagogue passionné qui considère l’enseignement comme sa vocation.
