McGill Formula Electric, the successor of MHRT, has merged with the McGill Racing Team that will design, build and race two formula style race cars- one with internal combustion engine and another with fully electric powertrain.

Great week at the Formula Hybrid competition!

Our team did really well in the static events on Day 1 and 2.

Day 3: We placed 2nd in the autocross thriller. The top 4 hybrid teams finished within a gap of 0.67s! Acceleration and design final went really well.

Day 4: Francis De Broux completed half of the endurance at a great pace like a boss. The car still had more than half of the energy left but before Adam Laidlaw could unleash it our team retired with DNF due to an unexpected problem.

In the end, we finished in 6th place. Our team is really happy with car's performance. It's lighter, faster and handles better than ever. Excited for summer testing!

Passed electrical and mechanical tech and made it to the design finals!
Now noise and brake test left before acceleration and autocross tomorrow.
