MIGSA is hiring!

We have the following positions open:

Administrative Officer
Responsible of the proper ethical conduct of all council members
Take minutes at the monthly meetings and distribute them to MIGSA officers via Dropbox and to MIMM trainees via the listserv
Responsible for elections and is the primary contact for prospective council members

VP Internal
Responsible for organizing or finding an organizer for Career Day and MIGSA workshops
Responsible for maintenance and monitoring of the MIGSA emails and internal calendar
Mainly responsible for communication via social media with assistance from VP Social & Affairs Coordinator

VP External
Responsible for all inter-departmental affairs including sitting on governing boards
Represents the council as a whole for PGSS Meetings
Responsible for attending monthly Faculty of Medicine Health and Wellness Meetings

VP Academic
Member of the MIMM Graduate and Post-Graduate Education Committee
Graduate student liaison for the Graduate Student Affairs Coordinator

VP Finance
Responsible for budgeting and financial issues
Official issuer of cheques and financial transactions
Organizes financial documents

VP Social
Responsible for organizing sports teams and social gatherings
In charge of maintaining a contact list of venues, vendors, caterers, etc.
Assist Vice-President Internal with communication via social media

Affairs Coordinator
Responsible for assisting and working closely with Vice-President Social
Assist Vice-President Internal with communication via social media

Post-doc Rep
Liaison between postdocs, the MIMM office, MIGSA and MIMM Human Resources
Ensure current postdoc email list is updated and that postdocs receive MIMM emails
Organize an annual meeting with all postdocs, the department head, and someone from human resources to discuss any issues postdocs would like to raise, as needed
