📣 ISO is looking for volunteers! 💙
As we do every year, the ISO is getting ready to welcome new students with our Connect Events, and we’d love to have you join our team!
This year, we’re expecting 100+ students for a fun downtown walking tour. We’ll walk together from Concordia toward Atwater, grab some ice cream 🍦, explore the area, and give new students a chance to socialize and make new friends!
📅 When: September 2, September 3, or both!
⏰ Event time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Volunteers should arrive at least 15 minutes earlier.
🙋 What will you help us with?
You’ll support the ISO coordinators with things like checking forms, helping organize and manage the group, making sure everyone stays together during the walk, and helping us keep the event safe and organized — definitely no jaywalking! 😄
✨ Who are we looking for?
• A current Concordia student
• Available on September 2 or 3 from 3–5 PM
• Flexible and comfortable helping with a large group
• Someone who loves communicating, meeting people, and making new friends!
Before the events, volunteers will also have a short training session, most likely online, with the coordinators so we can go over everything together.
