nner child"? As we're sure you're aware, McGill, professors, staff, and students alike are held to strict professional standards. These expectations are sometimes necessary for "academic success". They feed feelings of isolation, loneliness, failure, and desperation. We're suffocating our playful selves. So how to we keep the expectations in check? Perspective, stillness, and creation. By allowing for moments of silent reflection where there is nothing to be done except explore our personal and collective creativity, we strengthen our self-love and community pride. We remember how good it feel to let go, to relax. We conquer, together, our feelings of doubt by cultivating trust in ourselves and each other. So come play with us! Reclaim your inner child.
