IMPORTANT: MATHEMATICAL & COMPUTATIONAL FINANCE DEGREE AT MCGILL 💻🤓

McGill is considering introducing a new program for undergraduate students. It is a B.Sc. Computer Science: Focus in Mathematical & Computational Finance (CSMF).

Under the Faculty of Science, the program has three core components:
(i) Mathematics for statistical reasoning and modelling;
(ii) Computer Science for algorithmic analysis and large-scale data manipulation; and
(iii) Applications in the context of finance and business analytics.

This degree pairing would equip students with the necessary skills to pursue an interdisciplinary career in fintech, in areas like Market Risk Analysis, Software Development, Technology Analytics, or Financial Data Science.
