The IMA is a large and diverse networking and resource community that is here to help McGill students who are International Management majors, or are simply interested in exploring and pursuing a career that involves an international aspect. No matter what faculty you are in, we are happy to help you reach your future goals. As the Club of the Year 2012-13 at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University, we are striving to do even better this year through a number of exciting initiatives and opportunities. Throughout your time at McGill, the IMA will bring you:
• Engaging events with both academic perspective like case competition, and fun events to build real relationships with cool students like yourself
• Involved and successful Alumns and industry leaders that work internationally
• Exchange students that "hang out" with you in real time while they're on exchange
• Exclusive internship and job opportunities directly from the International Management Faculty
• A robust network of supportive students who answer all your questions regarding courses, profs and whatever else
• An online community where you can suggest and organize events alongside other cool students with diverse backgrounds
• A consolidated platform* where you can access everything you need for practicing a successful career internationally
*The IMA Google+ Community: a platform available to IMA members only, participate in alumni hangouts and ask any questions you have about the IM industry to recent McGill alumni, professionals in your field, and fellow students. The IMA is also proud to announce a number of new opportunities and events for the upcoming year, including free Mandarin lessons (in partnership with CCJCC) and our very own IMA Case Competition.
