Le jeudi 8 octobre à 19 h 30, Arnaud Banos, directeur de recherche au CNRS (IRL CRM-CNRS), présentera la conférence « Modéliser les sociétés humaines : à quoi ça sert, à qui ça sert et jusqu’où doit-on aller ? »

À travers plusieurs exemples concrets, de la circulation des piétons à la propagation des épidémies, il nous invitera à réfléchir aux possibilités, mais aussi aux limites, de la modélisation des sociétés humaines.

The Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM) and the Institut des sciences mathématiques (ISM) are inviting applications for 4 postdoctoral positions for early-career mathematics researchers for the 2027 academic year.

📅 Deadline: November 30, 2026

Applicants must have obtained their PhD after May 1, 2024. Applications include a CV, a research statement, and the names of individuals who will provide letters of reference.

🎓 2026-2027 Stratégia Doctoral Scholarships | Call for Applications

GERAD is launching the 2026-2027 Stratégia Doctoral Scholarship Competition, a joint initiative with CRM and the UNIQUE Network as part of an FRQ project.

Four scholarships of $12,500 each will be awarded to doctoral students conducting research on modelling applied to climate change and its impacts.
