DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!

I know you all have been waiting for it and this year SRI is back with our Faculty Student Speed Networking (FSSN) event!

FSSN is a FREE opportunity for students interested in research to interview with professors actively looking for undergraduates to join their labs! This year we have professors from a wide range of fields including (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) computer science, pharmacology, psychology, engineering, and neuroscience. If you are an undergraduate looking for a research position, this is THE EVENT FOR YOU!

You might be asking yourself:

WHEN?

November 23rd, in-person, from 6-8 PM

HOW?

The registration process occurs in two steps, on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. Mark your calendars folks because these slots fill up quick:

1. TODAY we will drop the registration portal on our website (FORM CLOSES ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 19th), where you will upload your CV and view the list of professors and their research interests. This first step serves as an expression of your interest in the event and DOES NOT guarantee you a spot at the event. This first step is NOT first come, first serve – submitting the registration form before the deadline gives you an equal chance at the next step of registration. You MUST complete both steps to secure an interview.
2. on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20th those who registered and submitted their CVs on time will receive an email inviting them to select time slots for their interview(s). Signing up for a time slot confirms your attendance for the event. Unlike the first step, registering for a desired time slot is on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis, so keep an eye out for the link and our email ([email protected]).

Feel free to message us with any questions. Hope to see you all there!
