This spring, L4E students explored the intersection of anthropology and ecological economics -- L4E's two anchor disciplines.

Led by Sam Bliss, this monthlong module brought these fields into conversation to examine how culture, economy, and ecology shape one another. Through discussions on exchange, institutions, and different ways of understanding economic life, students explored how anthropological and ecological economic perspectives can inform pathways toward mutual flourishing between humans and the more-than-human world.

Thank you to Sam and all participants for fostering meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and new ways of thinking about our shared future. 🌿

🎙️ Episode 5 of Radio Ecozoic is out now: “The Rise of Political Violence in Our Communities.”

This episode emerged from a shared need to process and discuss the rise of state violence targeting immigrant communities in the United States, including recent ICE actions in Minnesota and Vermont.

Through personal reflections and collective analysis, they discuss the emotional impact of these events, their effects on our communities, and the forms of resistance and solidarity that emerge in response.
