As the city buzzes with playoff energy, let’s take a moment to look back at why McGill University truly is the “Home of Hockey.” 🏒🏛️

Jack McGill: One of the most notable McGill alumni to transition to the professional ranks, he played for the McGill Redbirds (then Redmen) in the early 1930s before joining the Montreal Canadiens (“Habs”) from 1934 to 1937. He was inducted into the McGill Sports Hall of Fame in 2014. ❄️😄

Note: Jack McGill is not related to McGill founder James McGill.
