Congratulations to our professors, Dr. Allen Ehrlicher and Dr. Sara Mahshid on being the 1st recipients of McGill Innovation Fund!

Pattern-based Contractile Screening (PaCS), led by Professor Allen Ehrlicher, is a proposed new drug screening technology.

Salivera led by Professor Sara Mahshid, is a rapid portable nucleic acid test for diagnosis of respiratory infections.

Our very own, Dr. Ali Amini and Prof. Allen Ehrlicher are featured on CTV news for developing a 30 times more impact-resistant glass

The glass mimics the structure of nacre, the inner shell layer of some mollusks.

BIEN 414 Fundamentals and Rheology of Biological Fluids is open to undergraduate students. Graduate students require permission from their Program Advisor.

Our new material is not only three times stronger than the normal glass, but also more than five times more fracture resistant,” says our professor, Dr. Allen Ehrlicher, on developing the strongest and toughest glass known, inspired by the inner layer of mollusk shells.
