Call for Artists! 🎨

Calling all artists and creators! Applications are officially open to showcase your work at the 2026 Gathering of Our People.

This year's showcase is now open to Moosonee artists as well as Moose Factory residents and MCFN members! Whether you are an emerging or established artist working in beading, sewing, painting, photography, or traditional craftmaking, we want to celebrate your talent.

The Kematewan Winter Carnival is just around the corner, and we want to showcase the incredible talent in our community! Whether you are an acrylic painter, a digital illustrator, or a master craftsman of traditional items, this is your stage.

Whether you have one standout piece or a full collection to share, we want to see your unique style! This is a beautiful opportunity to connect with fellow creators and share your vision with the North.

This event will happen along side the Pageant and Talent show at the College.

Join us for an evening of tradition, craftsmanship, and community at the Indigenous Culture Demonstrations. We are honored to host four incredibly talented artisans who will be sharing their skills and stories with us.
