The VIU Philosophy Club is pleased to host First conference on Greco-Roman and Lyric Philosophy at VIU.

Our keynote speaker is Dr. Jan Zwicky, author of Lyric Philosophy. Her work has significantly shaped contemporary discussions of philosophy as a poetic and perceptual practice. An introduction to Lyric Philosophy by Dr. Warren Heiti (VIU) can be found here: https://philpapers.org/rec/HEIIWI

Dr. Zwicky is the author of more than twenty books of poetry and prose, including Forge, Songs for Relinquishing the Earth, and Wisdom & Metaphor. As both poet and philosopher, her work frequently explores music, the natural world, and ecological thought.

This event is open to all, and we warmly welcome your attendance.
