“Music therapy - a perfect name for such an amazing program. People need blood transfusions; I need music transfusions. Kaia, the guitar virtuoso, probably wonders why I like watching her fingers masterfully glide across the fretboard. She can thank my mom for that. Poetry in motion, Kaia is. And so patient. Amazes me. Her singing voice is so heavenly. She must be professionally trained! And such an incredible taste in the songs. My faves, so far: “Harvest Moon,” “What a Wonderful World,” and “Flowers”. Please register to attend Homecoming 2026 Celebrating 50 Years of Music Therapy Education at Capilano University. Our party runs from 4-8pm. There will be kids activities, a fundraiser for the Nancy McMaster Memorial Bursary, music, a Photo Booth, and more.
