TOURISM IS HUMAN.
Conversations about AI and Technology during World Tourism Day bought insight to students, faculty and other participants who have attended to represent their respective institution. We hope that you have walked out our doors with understanding, curiosity or perhaps even more questions about the progressing AI world.
🧐Here are few of TRECSA’s insights:
- Balance of people against and with AI is important! Both sides get to have a voice and be heard.
- For better adaptation to new technologies such as AI, students can implement writing a summary of what they learn over a school year, forming a base/body of knowledge and documenting everything as much as they can. That way, a student can strengthen their own critical thinking, allowing them to use AI as a tool instead of relying on it completely.
- There is a lot of value in building a community of like minded people who can help you grow and succeed. Technology will always exist but human connection is the most important.
- Your power as an individual is your own taste, judgement and a f****** perspective. Lean into your own creativity.
