Capilano University offers English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programs at six different levels. Our program is one of only a few in North America that can use English for Academic Purposes courses as general elective credits that count towards a degree program. Specifically, academic departments at Capilano University decide whether to award 0 - 6 credits to students in our top-level EAP 100 and

101 depending on a student's major. After completeing EAP courses, many EAP/ESL students at Capilano University choose to continue their studies in a wide range of university transfer courses or career and vocational programs.
