POV: You came to campus and got out-danced by a robot. 🤖💃

RoboCup Canada is at Sheridan this weekend, bringing an exciting robotics, engineering and AI competition to Davis Campus.

Participants ranging from 10 to 19 years old will take part in a variety of competitions, including soccer, rescue simulations and OnStage where teams design, build, and program creative and autonomous physical robots.

Two Sheridan illustrators. One global stage. 🌎

Illustration graduates Keerthana Uthiramerur (’26) and Xinyue Liang (’26) have been shortlisted for this year's Global Creative Graduate Showcase, the world's largest online showcase of recent graduates in the fields of art and design.

Ulthiramerur’s submission is titled “nocturna: allure of dream,” a lipstick packaging collection centred on the surreal, whimsical nature of dreams.

Liang’s submission “Chinese New Year Scavenger Hunt,” is a series of illustrations following animal characters through different moments of the Chinese New Year Festival.

Now it's time for the public vote.

Sheridan's Kinesiology and Health Promotion degree combines the science of human movement with health promotion, opening doors to careers that impact individuals, communities and public health.

From strength and conditioning coaching to orthopaedic physiotherapy and chiropractic care, Sheridan alumni like Marino Bortolussi (’22), Leah Terry (’21) and Jessica Toth (’15) share their journeys to finding their career path in kinesiology and healthcare.

Students and families joined Sheridan, along with the Peel District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board at Davis Campus last night to learn about the many pathways available after high school, from postsecondary education to apprenticeships and beyond.

Exploring possibilities starts with asking what's next.

Last night, Sheridan teamed up with the Halton District School Board at the HDSB Postsecondary Pathways Exploration Event, where students connected with colleges, universities, employers and community organizations, discovering the many routes available after high school.
