June 15th, 2021 marks the official closing of the Humber College Orangeville Campus. Much has been shared and more importantly a lot of celebration has taken place acknowledging the impact of our partnership with the Town of Orangeville, including the special connection with Community Services and the Orangeville Public Library at the Alder Complex.

Since 2007, over 2500+ full-time and part-time students as well as over 2000 high school dual-credit students have graced our hallways in a variety of academic programs. I want to congratulate each who have charted their own personal course of success by coming through our very special campus location.

Thank you to our numerous partners within the community who provided hundreds of placement opportunities for our students.

I want to extend my thanks to our incredible faculty who inspired and guided our Orangeville students.

My sincere thanks to the Humber College senior executive for their commitment to the Orangeville Campus and the legacy we have provided to the Orangeville region.

I also want to thank my outstanding office team who devoted countless hours and professionalism at the Orangeville Campus everyday.

And lastly, I want to thank the Orangeville community for believing and supporting the Orangeville Campus when it was just a dream back in 2004.

All the best,

Joe Andrews, Principal

Wishing all of our students, staff and community a Happy Valentine's Day today.

Normally we would be handing out some treats at the campus, but this is the best we can do today, so here's your treat virtually. 😍💗💖

Greetings and welcome to the winter 2021 semester.

It is my pleasure to welcome each of you back to the Orangeville Campus for this our final academic semester of operations even though all studies will be conducted virtually.

Since the fall 2007, those involved with academic delivery at the Orangeville Campus know it is a special learning environment and because of this, I want to make sure that you our students are successful.

As much as your point of contact for your academic program is through your faculty, student advisor and program coordinator, don’t hesitate to reach out to Morag Tierney, Linda MacDonald or myself if something arises this semester regarding your academic studies and needs.

This semester a student from each of our academic disciplines who is demonstrating exemplary commitment to their academic studies during this pandemic will be recognized halfway through the semester. Looking forward to acknowledging our students!

Also, in early March I will circulate the request for nominations for the 12th and final Orangeville Campus Student Success Awards. More details to come. This event will again be held virtually in May, 2021.

On behalf of the Orangeville Campus team, welcome and here’s to a great winter 2021 semester.

Thank you.

Welcome to the Winter 2021 term

I hope that you were able to enjoy the holiday break and find some time to recharge. As you may know, for this term, half of our programs will be offered entirely online, with the remainder having both online and in-person components. Eighty-four per cent of courses, including all electives, will be delivered online.

While the provincial government announced a state of emergency, as well as stay at home orders on January 12, Ontario colleges and universities are permitted to continue to offer limited in-person programming with existing health and safety measures in place, and students with on-site courses are permitted to travel to/from campus.

Note, there are no on-site delivery of courses/programs at the Orangeville Campus this Winter 2021 term. All program activity will be delivered virtually.

I encourage you to visit the student services updates page for all the online learning and virtual supports and services available to help you succeed, and to download the MyHumber and Humber Guardian apps, if you haven’t already done so. Also, visit humber.ca/updates and humber.ca/campus-return for the latest updates and information.

Thank you for choosing Humber and for being part of our community. I wish you all the best for the term ahead.
