You don’t have to earn study breaks, you deserve them. Stepping away from studying isn’t the same as procrastinating; it actually helps your brain rest, reset, and come back sharper. Taking short, intentional breaks can improve focus, memory, and how much you actually retain. Try:
• Getting up and stretching or going for a quick walk
• Grabbing a snack or hydrating
• Putting your phone down and closing your eyes for a few minutes
• Chatting with a friend
• Doing something creative or relaxing (music, doodling, puzzles)
Need a place to take a real break?
Drop by the Unstudy Spot on Wednesday April 8 in the Dining Hall. No studying allowed. Just space to relax, reset, and recharge before exams.
