Lakehead Business Associations FoBSA and B.O.S.S. present to you “Equality in Business: Learning from Influential Women” a virtual conference coming to you this April 9th though 10th via Zoom. An event set to empower all students by gaining the confidence and resources from experienced women in business. The event is set to include 4 speaker sessions, along with 2 in depth workshops. Additionally, a set of door prizes have been curated to include local women owned businesses from both Thunder Bay and Orillia.

Registration is now open through the link down below. The free signup option includes access to all 4 speaker sessions, while the $10 signup option includes access to all 4 speakers, both workshops and one entry into the door prizes! *(Members of FoBSA at the Thunder Bay campus automatically receive an additional entry into the door prizes.)* After the form had been completed you will receive a confirmation email from [email protected] offering additional information or payment instruction if that option is selected. Registration will close April 8th at noon.

BOSS Members, check it out!!!!

We have been mentioned in the Lakehead Faculty of Business Administration Newsletter for our great success on the Investopedia stock simulation competition!

As well as, our very own executive memberWilliam Das Neves for being the recipient of the "Ben Cowan Scholarship" which was created through the Estate of Ben Cowan, a Lakehead University Honorary Degree recipient. This Scholarship is awarded to a achieving student in the Faculty of Business Administration. Congratulations Will, we are all so proud of you.

The BOSS executive committee is thrilled with the turnout of the 2020/2021 academic season and we look forward to sharing with our members what we have planned for next year. We will be using our summer months to plan events for the fall in hopes of having an in person experience.

Thank you to everyone who supported us this season, and stay tuned for our annual end of the year BOSS Social.
