IECS will be representing Ontario Tech with the Indigenous Post-Secondary Education Network
Formerly Aboriginal Post-Secondary Information Program (APSIP)). There’s been a re-brand and name change introduced to reflect the mission and vision, as a network of educators supporting Indigenous learners access post-secondary education. :)
Introducing the Indigenous Post-Secondary Education Network!
Formerly known as APSIP, the Indigenous Post-Secondary Education Network is a collective of Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) representatives from colleges, universities, polytechnics, and Indigenous learning institutes who work together to strengthen pathways and support Indigenous learners in accessing and succeeding in post-secondary education.
Our new name reflects who we are today: a collaborative network grounded in relationships, reciprocity, and shared learning.
Through The Network, we’ll continue to:
• Support Indigenous learners in exploring post-secondary opportunities
• Strengthen relationships between communities and institutions
• Share resources, events, and pathways to education
• Celebrate Indigenous student success
Follow along as we share opportunities, celebrate Indigenous student success, and continue building stronger pathways to post-secondary education.
