Meet Zainab Najarali a Biological Sciences student specializing in Marine Biology who traded the classroom for the open ocean. 🐟 🦞

During her semester at ASU Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS), she had the opportunity to immerse herself in marine biology through hands-on fieldwork, laboratory research, and life aboard research vessels. From snorkelling and free-diving through vibrant marine ecosystems to experiencing the magic of night dives, every day brought a new perspective on how marine life interacts with its environment.

Each experience offered a deeper understanding of ocean science and the incredible complexity of the natural world.

What started as a semester abroad became an experience that strengthened her passion for marine biology and understanding the natural world.
