🎉 The School of Dance is thrilled to welcome Emmanuelle Lê Phan as the first guest artist of our 2026-27 Season!

A Québeco-Vietnamese artist raised in Ottawa, Emmanuelle - also known as B-girl Cleopatra - is an internationally acclaimed dancer, choreographer, and co-founder of Montreal-based Te****le Tribe. Renowned for blending Breaking and Contemporary Dance, her dynamic career has taken her from Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Éloize stages to festivals and theatres around the world.

As a performer, creator, educator, and certified WDSF Breaking judge, Emmanuelle continues to inspire dance communities through her innovative artistry and commitment to Street Dance culture.

✨ Workshop Level: Open to professionals and advanced Contemporary dance students
📅 Date: Tuesday, September 8 to Friday, September 11, 2026 (4 days)
⏰ Time: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
📍 Location: The School of Dance, 200 Crichton Street, Ottawa
💲 Fee: $40 per day or $150 for the week

Your fluid movement quality and thoughtful artistry stand as strong evidence of your development as a dancer. is presently spending a wonderful summer as the Director of the NAC Summer Camps, guiding young artists through creative exploration and joyful discovery.

Emily is moving forward on a path focused on cultivating her creative voice. She will explore her artistic interests and strengthen her practice, developing her growth as an emerging creator.

AMELIA AVERY

Congratulations for three years of dedicated hard work, Amelia. You are a wonderfully dynamic and expressive dancer, and your growth has been a joy to witness. Amelia will be heading to Toronto this September to pursue the joint diploma degree alongside York University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours B.F.A.) in Dance. This next chapter marks an exciting step in her artistic and academic journey.

Félicitations ! Amelia, pour ces trois années de travail vigoureux et engagé. Tu es une danseuse merveilleusement dynamique et expressive. Ce fut un plaisir de te voir évoluer. Amelia se rendra à Toronto en septembre pour poursuivre le programme menant au diplôme conjoint du Baccalauréat ès beaux-arts en danse (Honours B.F.A.) de l’Université York.
