Preparing for law school starts long before you submit your application.

The University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law is pleased to once again offer its Free Summer LSAT Prep Course for prospective applicants who have experienced systemic barriers to education.

Open to individuals from equity-seeking groups, including applicants who are Black, Indigenous, or part of other marginalized communities, and who are planning to apply to law school in the upcoming admissions cycle, this program reflects our commitment to improving access to legal education by reducing barriers and supporting prospective applicants at an early stage of the process.

Participants will benefit from:
✅ Guided instruction on LSAT question types and test strategy
✅ Practice opportunities and simulated test scenarios
✅ Insight into the law school admissions process

You do not need to be a uOttawa student or applicant to participate.

Se préparer aux études en droit commence bien avant de soumettre sa demande.

La Faculté de droit de l’Université d’Ottawa est heureuse d’offrir à nouveau son cours préparatoire au LSAT (été 2026) destiné aux futures candidates et futurs candidats ayant été confrontés à des obstacles systémiques à l’accès à l’éducation.

Ouvert aux personnes issues de groupes en quête d'équité, notamment les candidates et candidats noirs, autochtones ou appartenant à d'autres communautés marginalisées, qui envisagent de soumettre une demande d'admission à la faculté de droit au cours du prochain cycle d'admissions, ce programme témoigne de notre engagement à améliorer l'accès à la formation juridique en réduisant les obstacles et en soutenant les personnes candidates dès les premières étapes de leur parcours.

Les personnes participantes pourront :
✅ Se familiariser avec les types de questions du LSAT et les stratégies d’examen
✅ S’exercer grâce à des mises en situation et des simulations d’examen
✅ Mieux comprendre le processus d’admission en droit

The new Koskie Minsky LLP Advocacy Prize was generously created by Koskie Minsky LLP to recognize students who demonstrate academic excellence in the area of advocacy.

Koskie Minsky is widely acknowledged as one of Canada’s pre-eminent firms in the areas of civil litigation, class actions, pensions and benefits, and union-side labour law.
