• Hello 15–17-year-old!

Have you experienced your parent or step- parent controlling or limiting your freedom, choices, or relationships? We’re inviting 15–17-year-olds to take part in an anonymous online survey about coercive control as a form of domestic or family violence.

Coercive control can include:
• Restrictions on your time, movement, self-expression, money, or relationships
• Physical, psychological, or sexual violence
• Harassing messages, threats, or being tracked through technology

If you have experienced any of these, we hope you’ll share your experience through this survey.

• It takes about 15 minutes to complete.
• No personal data is collected.
• Your participation helps produce new knowledge on coercive control — an under-researched topic.

The study is conducted by the University of Lapland and is part of the Research Council of Finland–funded project “Coercive Control and Transforming Practices of Power: Understanding the Experiences and Needs of Child Victims-Survivors (CAPUCS)”

Bonjour à vous qui avez entre 15 et 17 ans !

Avez-vous expérimenté de la part d’un de vos parents ou de vos beaux-parents un contrôle ou une restriction de votre liberté,
de vos choix ou de vos relations? Nous invitons les jeunes âgés entre 15 et 17 ans de prendre part à un sondage anonyme en ligne, au sujet du contrôle coercitif en tant que forme de violence domestique ou familiale.

Le contrôle coercitif peut inclure:
• Des restrictions relatives à votre temps libre, à vos déplacements, à votre libre expression personnelle, à l’utilisation de l’argent, ou aux relations humaines
• Des violences physiques, psychologiques ou sexuelles
• Des messages harcelants, des menaces, ou une surveillance au moyen de la technologie

Si vous avez l’expérience d’une de ces choses-là, nous espérons que vous partagerez vos expériences via ce sondage.
• Il faut compter environ 15 minutes pour le remplir.
• Aucune donnée personnelle ne sera collectée.

•Votre participation nous aidera à produire de nouvelles connaissances au sujet du contrôle coercitif— un sujet qui n’a pas auparavant fait l’objet d’une étude en Finlande et au Canada.
