🌿 Kwey! 🌿
Have you heard of the Kwey Indigenous Language Series?
Created by Algonquin College, the Kwey Series shares words, phrases, and expressions in the Anishinàbe Algonquin language—the traditional language of this territory. Since 2024, more than 90 videos have been created to help learners connect with the language and support Indigenous language revitalization.
The Spring 2026 series focuses on vocabulary and phrases related to Campus Services and Student Services, making it a great way for students, staff, and community members to learn a few words while becoming more familiar with the language of the host nation.
Learning even a few words can help build understanding, strengthen connections to the territory, and support the ongoing revitalization of Indigenous languages.
🎥 The series is easy to follow, only a few minutes long, and a great way to start learning. Whether you're just beginning your language journey or looking to learn something new, we encourage you to check it out.
