Are you in your second year or up? Applications for the BSc Ophthalmic Medical Technologist program are now open and are due ** MARCH 1st **!

The 3rd and 4th years of this program are at The Ottawa Hospital Eye Institute where students get plenty of hands on experience in the clinic and learn about vision diagnostic technologies.

👀💟 If you are a current student at uOttawa who is interested in vision science, Insight is the club for you! We are dedicated to exposing students to potential career paths in vision health and vision science. We are now acception applicants to make up our 2023-2024 executive team. Joining our club is an excellent way to meet new like-minded people, and immerse yourself in the community of vision science. You can find the application in the link in our bio.

VP bilingualism

Meet the Insight uOttawa 2022-2023 Team!

Hi, my name is Longfei Sun and I am in my final year of biomedical sciences. This will be my first year as part of the Insight team as VP Creative. I joined this club as I have developed a passion for optometry and hope to influence others into also learning about vision science, as well as to gain insight into this field as a potential future career. In my free time I like going on walks, hanging out with my cat, and/or going on walks with my cat.
Fun fact: My name means “flying dragon” in Mandarin

Bonjour, je m'appelle Longfei Sun et je suis en dernière année de sciences biomédicales. Ce sera ma première année au sein de l'équipe Insight en tant que VP Creative. J'ai rejoint ce club car j'ai développé une passion pour l'optométrie et j'espère influencer les autres pour qu'ils apprennent également la science de la vision, ainsi que pour avoir un aperçu de ce domaine en tant que future carrière potentielle. Hello! My name is Bill Nguyen and I'm the VP Creative of this year's Insight team. I am currently in my 2nd year of Biomedical Science. I joined the team in order to learn more about my possible future career paths in vision and to develop my interpersonal and graphic designs skills!
