Hello BMI!

We hope you've been taking care of yourselves and having some fun this summer. Are you ready for the fall term to begin??

The BMIGSA is kicking it off with 3 social events for welcome week - all of which will be outdoors and in-person!!! These are awesome opportunities to reconnect with familiar faces and of course, welcome new ones into our BMI family! 🙂

1. BMI BEACH GETAWAY
When: Wednesday September 8 @ 6 PM
Where: Mooney's Bay
What: Frisbee & Spike ball tournaments, gourmet sandwiches, & refreshments

2. COURTYARD MOVIE NIGHT
When: Friday September 10 @ 8 PM
Where: RGN Courtyard
What: Fun movie voted by you on our Facebook group, popcorn, & fruit snacks
NO sign-up required!

3. KARAOKE IN THE PARK
When: Friday September 17 @ 8 PM
Where: RGN Courtyard
What: Karaoke app, projector, & millions of old and new songs to choose from (it's very official!)
NO sign-up required!

Note that these welcome week events are free of charge & open to all returning and incoming BMI students, professors, and any other lab members who want to join in on all the fun! 🙂

We're launching BMI Battle 2021, a 5-level competition running from April to June! Registered teams will compete in bi-weekly challenges until one is ultimately crowned this year's CHAMPIONS 🏆 Register via the form in our latest email by April 23, 12PM. Prizes will be awarded for the bi-weekly challenges, and the Champions will receive commemorative T-shirts!
