Tau Kappa Epsilon - Tau Omega Chapter "Not for wealth, rank, or honour but personal worth and character." Colony 717 was chartered on May 6, 2000 and became Tau Omega Chapter.

Founded as Colony 717 of Tau Kappa Epsilon on November 16th, 1996 with the initiation of 14 ΣΧΝ members and one honorary member. Tau Omega chapter has a strong sense of diversity with active brothers in various disciplines from Carleton University, the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College.
