Founded in 1989, the Delta Pi Chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu International Fraternity is the oldest and largest Fraternity at the University of Ottawa.

The Sammy's ultimate goal is Building Better Men through Social, Philanthropic, and Academic initiatives.

The Brotherhood of Sigma Alpha Mu is proud to announce the incoming Chapter Council.

These Brothers have demonstrated strong leadership, initiative, and a clear commitment to the future of our chapter. Over the next year, they will take on the responsibility of guiding our operations, strengthening our community, and building on the foundation set before them.

Trusted to carry forward our traditions of Sigma Alpha Mu, they will work to build better men and uphold the values of brotherhood, true manhood, democracy, and humanity.

As the school year comes to a close, we have a few important updates to share from Sigma Alpha Mu.

To start, we are proud to welcome our newest members. Each of them brings unique strengths, perspectives, and energy that will strengthen our brotherhood and contribute to the continued growth of our chapter.

Alors que l’année scolaire tire à sa fin, nous avons quelques annonces importantes à partager au nom de Sigma Alpha Mu.

Pour commencer, nous sommes fiers d’accueillir nos nouveaux membres. Chacun apporte des forces, des perspectives et une énergie qui viendront enrichir notre fraternité et soutenir la croissance de notre chapitre.

Last weekend, our brothers had the immense pleasure of attending CLD, where they had the opportunity to meet fellow Sammies. The program focused on member development, chapter operations, values alignment, and leadership skills, reinforcing the foundation of our brotherhood.

This past weekend, two of our Brothers, Prior and Brotherhood Chair , had the honor of attending the Developing Leader’s Initiative (DLI) in Indianapolis, hosted by . Alongside 8 other Chapter leaders from across North America, they engaged in workshops, built meaningful connections, and explored solutions to the challenges faced by students on college campuses today.

Their participation in the Xi Class of DLI represents not only their commitment to leadership but also the spirit of Delta Pi in shaping a brighter future for our communities. Big congratulations to the Xi Class of DLI, and thank you to and for creating this incredible opportunity. Here’s to taking what we’ve learned and growing stronger together!

Ce week-end passé, deux de nos Frères, le Prieur et le Président de la Fraternité , ont eu l’honneur de participer à l’Initiative des Leaders en Développement (ILD) à Indianapolis, organisée par . Aux côtés de 8 autres leaders de Chapitres à travers l’Amérique du Nord, ils ont pris part à des ateliers, créé des liens significatifs et exploré des solutions aux défis auxquels font face les étudiants sur les campus universitaires aujourd’hui.

Leur participation à la Classe Xi de l’ILD représente non seulement leur engagement envers le leadership, mais aussi l’esprit de Delta Pi dans la construction d’un avenir meilleur pour nos communautés. Félicitations à la Classe Xi de l’ILD, et merci à et pour avoir créé cette opportunité incroyable. Ensemble, utilisons ce que nous avons appris pour grandir et devenir plus forts!
