Carleton BSWSS Canada’s capital university offers a unique social work program that engages students in both theoretical and practical knowledge of social work practice.

The Bachelor of Social Work Student Society (BSWSS) is a student society which seeks to represent, support and advocate for Bachelor of Social Work Students at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. The university follows a structural approach to social work; a practice rooted in social justice and social change, in order to provide students with a diverse breadth of knowledge geared towards the present economic and political climate. The BSWSS is a student society organized on behalf of the school of social work at Carleton University. Our main purpose serves to represent the undergraduate student body of the social work program while providing networking and engagement opportunities within the school and community.
