Did summer exams not go the way you hoped leaving you with questions about your degree progress? Well, good news! Academic Advising is here to support you. Connect with an Academic Advisor in a pre-booked or same-day appointment in August.

What do I do if I miss my exam?

When extenuating circumstances arise that impacts a student's ability to attend an exam they should first reach out to the course instructor.

Students should email their instructor and clearly indicate why they were unable to complete the exam and politely ask if alternate arrangements can be made.

While Academic Advisors are not able to make alternate arrangements, they can help students discuss options if a student has missed an exam and already reached out to the course instructor.

Do you still need to register for courses? Well, good news, you have until September 24th to add and change your fall and full-year courses.

Courses and course sections can be added, dropped and changed in the MyTrent Self-Service Portal. Additional resources such as the Academic Timetable and the Academic Calendar can be found in MyTrent as well.

If you need to speak with an Academic Advisor, you can do so by booking an appointment in the Student Experience Portal or you can book a same-day appointment by calling the Academic Advising line at 705-748-1488. Same-day appointments are available from Monday to Friday and can be booked starting at 8:50am.
