At Trent, curiosity can take you far💡

This summer, Trent University physics student Khoi Ngo is exploring how everyday materials can create colour from white light through a funded research project in optics.

Khoi is the first recipient of the Dr. Ian Affleck ’71 Physics Undergraduate Research Prize, supporting hands‑on undergraduate research at Trent. His journey shows what’s possible when students build connections beyond the classroom.
