As part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Korea University and Obvia, we were pleased to welcome colleagues from Korea University to exchange on the societal impacts of cybersecurity, privacy, and artificial intelligence.
The meeting brought together Lyse Langlois, CEO of Obvia, Frédéric Picard, Vice-Rector for Research and Creation, colleagues from Université Laval’s Department of Cybersecurity, Pierre-Luc Déziel and Christian Gagné, Director of the Institute for Intelligence and Data, Benoit Dupont from University of Montreal, alongside colleagues from Korea University, Sangpil Yoon.
This meeting provided an opportunity to:
🔹 Share our research perspectives

🔹 Explore new avenues for collaboration between our academic communities
💡 These exchanges highlight the importance of developing international collaborations to better understand technological transformations and their effects on individuals, organizations, and society.
🙏 Many thanks to our colleagues from Korea University for their visit and for the richness of our discussions. We look forward to continuing this collaboration!
