🌿 The George F. Ledingham Herbarium display has found a new home across from the Lab Commons in the Laboratory Building!

Featuring a new display location and signage, the exhibit celebrates Dr. George F. Ledingham’s legacy and the lasting impact of his work. Thank you to the Humanities Research Institute (HRI) Grant for helping make this project possible.

Over 80 years of combined teaching excellence—what an incredible milestone!

The Faculty of Science extends heartfelt congratulations to:
Dr. Lynn Mihichuk – 45 years of service
Mr. Henry Yee – 40 years of service

Their lasting contributions, mentorship, and commitment to our students have shaped generations of learners. We are truly grateful for all they have given to our faculty and university community.

A first for Physics at the University of Regina! ⚡️

This new experiment on display allows students to remotely access and control a real physics apparatus from their own device to collect data and study the magnetic field around a magnetic dipole.

The apparatus and software were researched and developed by Physics Lab Instructor Stamatios Katsaganis.

Even our Dean of Science, Dr. Douglas Farenick, couldn’t resist giving it a test run!
