Some evenings are about more than an event. They’re about the people around the table, the conversations that stay with you, and the ideas that make you see things a little differently.

Last night was one of those evenings.

The HILL Dinner brought our Hill Levene community together in the best way; students sitting alongside business leaders, alumni reconnecting, new relationships taking shape, and conversations flowing well beyond the dinner table. It was a room full of people sharing experiences and leaving a little more inspired than when they arrived.

Our keynote speaker and HILL Award recipient, Michael H. McCain , Executive Chair of Maple Leaf Foods Inc , gave us a lot to think about. His reflections on what it means to lead with purpose — to serve more than shareholders, make difficult decisions in uncertain moments, learn from our mistakes, and lead with EQ — offered our students a perspective that reaches far beyond the classroom.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a strong and generous business community in Regina who invest in the next generation of business leaders. Last night was a wonderful reflection of that spirit.

A heartfelt thank you to the Hill Business Students' Society for bringing this special evening to life and a special thank you to Tyson Liske for being such a wonderful MC and helping carry the energy of the evening from one conversation to the next. And to everyone who joined us — thank you for bringing your stories, your questions, your perspectives and your time to the table.

A milestone worth celebrating. A journey worth remembering. And a future worth building.

The Hill Levene community came together to celebrate a defining moment in our history: earning initial AACSB accreditation.🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this incredible milestone. It was wonderful to mark this achievement together and recognize the many people who helped make it possible.

Fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide hold this distinction. But what makes this achievement truly meaningful is everything it represents.

Six years of work. Five major submissions. Countless conversations, ideas, meetings, and moments of continuous improvement. And through it all, a shared commitment to making Hill Levene better for our students, our community, and the future of business education.

This achievement belongs to an entire community—our faculty and staff, students, alumni, donors, industry and community partners, and University colleagues—who contributed to this journey and believed in where it could take us.

AACSB accreditation recognizes the quality and continuous improvement of our business education and connects Hill Levene to a global community of accredited business schools.

Big congratulations to incoming Hill Levene School of Business student Finn Low on being named 2026–2027 University of Regina Chancellor’s Scholar! 🎉🎓

Finn, from Davidson School, stood out as class valedictorian, student leader, and multi-sport athlete competing at the provincial level.

We can’t wait to see what this future business leader accomplishes at the University of Regina! 👏

Congratulations to Finn Low, 2026-2027 University of Regina Chancellor’s Scholar! 🎓

A dedicated student at Davidson School in the Town of Davidson, Saskatchewan, Finn has demonstrated excellence both in the classroom and in athletics. As valedictorian of his graduating class and president of the Student Leadership Team, he has shown a strong commitment to leadership, teamwork, and academic achievement.

Beyond school leadership, Finn is actively involved in hockey, volleyball, football, and basketball, even competing at the provincial level in basketball.

Finn will begin pursuing a degree at the Hill Levene School of Business this fall as a Chancellor’s Scholar, where he hopes to combine his leadership abilities with his passion for business.
