Are you interested in the health, nutrition, breeding and management of dairy cows? Are you looking for hands-on training? If so, the Dairy Herdsperson Apprenticeship program at Ridgetown Campus might be the perfect fit for you!

90% of the program is completed through on-the-job training with your employer, and the other 10% is spent on campus completing in-school training. It's the best of both worlds!

Our second stop of the day was at Clearydale Farms. We really enjoyed hearing about their farm and the innovation and unique features they have. Students enjoyed hearing more about the on farm digester and seeing how the digestate is able to be pressed and used for bedding.
