The Grantham Optimist Club Softball League was excited to celebrate Coach Nate at the end of our 2026 season.

Coach Nate has coached at the Grantham Optimist for the past 5 years. He brings positive energy and dedication to his players. He knows exactly how to keep things fun and engaging on the field at practices and games and has created a supportive environment for our players to further develop their skills.

Thank you for all you do, Coach Nate! We are proud to have you and your family as part of the Grantham Optimist community!

Last Wednesday, we had our first Members' meeting since wrapping up our busy softball season. We took a moment outside to dedicate one of our new trees to the late Optimist Jim Bradley, alongside the tree dedicated to our dear friend, the late Councillor N. Carlos Garcia.

If you are from Niagara, especially the North End, you likely have a story or three about these gentlemen. They truly embodied what it means to give back and show up for our community. We miss them and we are committed to keeping their memory alive by living out that same dedication every day.
