Thomas More College is a Catholic liberal arts college academically federated with the University of Saskatchewan. Any U of S student can take STM courses for University credit. The contributions of the STM Department to the Religion and Culture Program are substantial. The STM Department provides a range of course offerings related to the highly influential and widespread Western religions of Jud
aism and Christianity, and their impact on the societies and cultures of the world, taught by a team of four full-time faculty. Studies of Religion and Culture find their applications in community building, cultural organizations, human resources, NGOs, religious ministry, university administration, research and a range of other positions. Understanding the religious traditions that have shaped the west prepares students to become inclusive and contributing members of contemporary Canadian society in a globalized world.
