As a matter of faith our greatest freedom and our greatest call is to love our neighbour as ourself, so we are continuing our Covid 19 safety precautions. We will offer online opportunities for worship, counsel and connection. We will mask, sanitize and distance in our on-campus office (Marquis 104). Our in-person ministry and small group programs will have limited numbers and take place at the Lu

theran Centre (1302 College Dr.) The Ecumenical Chaplaincy is a shared ministry of Anglican, Presbyterian, and United churches. We seek to nourish faith and build community among students at the University of Saskatchewan in co-operation with other faith communities and to support the spiritual needs of the whole university.

Hi all… there is a chance of rain today around BBQ time. If it is wet we will eat inside. As always we have burgers, veggie burgers, hotdogs and halal dogs with all the toppings. We meet at the Lutheran Campus Centre (just off campus at the corner of College and Wiggins). Grill is open from 6:00 to 6:45 or until the food runs out).

In the up and down weather of this spring tonight’s forecast is a chance of showers later in the afternoon. Our BBQ will go ahead rain or shine. Welcome to patio burgers. We will gather Tuesdays in May and June on the patio of the Lutheran Campus Centre. (Just off Campus at the corner of College and Wiggins) Burgers, veggie burgers and hotdogs will be on the grill. It’s a chance to gather with friends. Tonight because the temperature is cool and the wind will be blowing tables will be inside.

At Faith-Talk we will talk about how God frames abundance as we consider the care of the Good Shepherd. Our meal will include Pollo à la Braso, potatoes with Huancaina Sauce, Peru style corn salad and green rice. Next week we switch to burgers on the patio. At Faith Talk we explore how the risen Lord meets us on our journey. Our meal samples the home food of students from the Philippines. We will sample Sinigang soup, Chicken Adobo, spring rolls and vegetarian Pancit. We meet just off campus at the Lutheran Campus Centre at the corner of College and Wiggins.

At this time of year endings and beginnings shape things. Today is New Year’s in Nepal… it’s a chance to sample food from the home of another student. Nepal’s national dish is Dal Bhat & Tarkari… served as a “thali” (mixed plate) often with a side of Momo Jhal Achar (dumplings in sauce) and spicy pickles. At Faith-Talk we will explore “wounds that welcome” and the gift of peace. We gather at the Lutheran Campus Centre…just off campus at the corner of College and Wiggins.

Easter isn’t just a day… it’s a season of joyful new beginnings! Join us tonight at 5:30 pm for Faith Talk to celebrate in word and song. Supper follows at around 6:00. Our meal includes “Seco de Pollo, rice, fried plantain and Brazi Bites…. as we sample the flavours of Equador. We meet at the Lutheran Campus Centre ( just off campus at the corner of College and Wiggins).

We gather at 6:00 pm today. Our meal will include street food commonly found in Jerusalem (and Gaza). As we share falafels, kibbeh, tabbouleh, hummus and Baba Ganoush… we remember the what street-food has become for many. Lent’s story of deep love that cares amid anger, brokenness and violence will shape our remembrance. We meet at the Lutheran Campus Centre, just off campus at the corner of College and Wiggins.
