Call for Preceptors 2027–2028:
Preceptor Recruitment Project Through Student Testimonials

The School of Pharmacy is looking for student testimonials in a short video format.

Students, have you recently worked with a Preceptor who you feel gave you the very best real-world experience? Did your Preceptor provide strong communication, supportive mentorship, and effective feedback? Was your Preceptor kind, patient, and knowledgeable? If yes, we’d love to hear from you!

We are looking for short video testimonials about your overall experience with your Preceptor. We want to show prospective Preceptors the benefits of giving back to their pharmacy community through a student lens. We would like to share your short videos on the School of Pharmacy’s social media channels (Facebook: and Instagram: ), as well as the School of Pharmacy website, as a way to recruit Preceptors for the 2027–2028 academic year.

If you’re interested in making a 15–60-second video showing us why being a Preceptor is so important for the profession of Pharmacy, please contact Lisa Little, our Pharmacy Practice Experience (PPE) Program Coordinator.

REFER A FUTURE STUDENT!

The Refer a Student program encourages alumni, current students, employees and friends of Memorial to refer grade 12 students for the chance to win a voucher for one semester of undergraduate tuition (courtesy of belairdirect) and up to $500 to go towards course materials from the Memorial University Bookstore.

This will be a wonderful start for one lucky student! This prize draw will take place in August of 2027. There are prizes for referrers as well! There will be two draws for $250 Visa cards in the fall 2026 and winter 2027 semesters for a total of four gift cards – two will go to alumni and two will go to current students.
