MUN Sailing

MUN Sailing MUN Sailing exists to assist in the growth of a strong community of sailors who can build the sport of sailing within Memorial University and the province.

MUN Sailing strives to provide affordable and exciting sailing opportunities to the students of Memorial University and all satellite campuses. We are working towards growing our membership and community outreach. MUN Sailing has taken part in various activities throughout the years including but not limited to holding its first-ever regatta in 2013, various initiatives to fundraise for equipment

and sailing essentials such as student mixers and bake sales, as well as acquiring numerous corporate sponsors for the 2021-2022 year including CBCL, Roebothan McKay Marshall, and Waterford River Valley Campground. Thank you to our corporate sponsors for supporting MUN Sailing.

Hi everyone! We will be having an online general meeting this Sunday, May 29th at 4:00 p.m. to discuss the past year and the upcoming summer season! We will also be discussing the upcoming board election! Everyone is welcome to tune in, whether you were previously a part of MUN Sailing or not!

We had an awesome afternoon helping out Able Sail NL setting up their boats for the summer!

We got one group out on the water before the weather turned and we got drenched in rain and gusts of 30km.

Overall quite a productive day!
