Early Childhood Education, first year students, during Curriculum I, had the opportunity to explore sand and water play.

Students discovered how simple materials can encourage exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and learning. Sand and water play are valuable components of early learning environments, providing children with opportunities to investigate, discover, and make sense of the world around them. Through their exploration, students experienced firsthand how important play-based learning truly is.

Thank-you for the informative session. And our students learn a lot.

Today I partnered with College of the North Atlantic (CNA) as a guest speaker for their Administrative students (it was a combined class of various admin disciplines).

🗣️ I presented an Information Session on resumes and interview skills.

For a presenter it was a great group to speak in front of because the students and instructors:

👫 were engaged
❓asked lots of questions throughout
🤣 laughed at my presentation jokes (not all audiences see the humour lol)
📣 and provided feedback (and also kept me on my toes)

I didn't think to get a picture until I was already in my car. So a picture of the thank you gift they gave me will have to do. And to top it all off all the students individually signed the thank you card (that was a nice touch).

I had a line up of students afterwards asking about my services and specific questions to their own situations. One even gave me a business related Bird's View tip!

Thank you to Nichole and Amanda at CNA for coordinating this session. And to the students for your honest conversations.
