Dr. Sevtap Savas is conducting a research project on the Future of Cancer and Cancer Care in Newfoundland and Labrador. In this project they are interested in the opinions of NL residents and how they would like to see the future regarding cancer and cancer care. For this purpose, she will hold town halls to facilitate conversations and draw a future public vision for cancer in our province.
Do you have ideas on how a future with cancer and cancer care should look like?
Do you live in NL?
Are you 19 years of age or older?
If you answered yes to these questions, you are invited to participate in an in-person or virtual town hall. You will also be asked to complete a short demographic survey.

How cool is this! Great story and a fun bit of history.

How neat is this! This is the exam table that sat in the medical home office of Dr. Nigel Rusted, Physician and Surgeon, known for his cleft lip/cleft palate repair. His home office was located on Monkstown Road in St. John's. The house still stands today. Dr. Rusted lived to be 104 years old. This will be on permanent display in the centre of the Health Sciences Library.
