llege, we are dedicated to a unique policy of providing individualized attention to each student, by consistently managing an appropriate instructor to student ratio, and helping each student to develop a career plan that meets their objectives for their career development. Our programs are thorough and intensive, and successful completion gives students the skills and credibility to compete for better positions, with more responsibility, opportunities for advancement, and greater earnings. Today, we celebrate International Youth Day and the aspirations that connect young people around the world.

This year’s theme, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” recognizes that while young people may come from different communities, cultures, and circumstances, many share the same hopes: access to quality education, meaningful opportunities, decent work, and a future they can be proud of.

At Western Community College, we’re proud to prepare future professionals who can help create those opportunities. Through programs such as Early Childhood Education and Educational Assistant, our students develop the knowledge and skills to support children and young people as they learn, grow, and shape their futures.

We recognize the diversity, resilience, and potential of young people and the educators and professionals who help support their journey.
