🌿 The KPU Criminology Department is deeply committed to the ongoing work of Indigenizing and decolonizing our practices and curriculum. A key part of this journey is the support and guidance of our Indigenizing and Decolonizing Criminology Committee (IDCC).

📸 Pictured here: several members of the IDCC alongside Elder Lekeyten at the first KPU Sharing Circle, held on Friday, June 20th.

💬 Organized by the IDCC, the event brought together instructors and staff from across the university to share, reflect, and engage in meaningful dialogue about how they’re incorporating Indigenizing and decolonizing approaches in their work.
