* Please note the CD-ED main office closes at 6pm Mon- Wed, and at 5pm, Thu-Fri. Centre for Distance Education, a registered private career college, was established in 1996. We are registered with the Nova Scotia Department of Education & Culture under the Private Career Colleges Regulations Act and we are registered with the National Association of Career Colleges in Canada. Centre for Distance Education is also licensed by the Commission of Independent Education.

After more than 10 years in the food industry, Kanika decided it was time for a change. “I would like to switch to healthcare to get better opportunities, upgrade my skills, do a desk job, and learn more,” she shared.
